I’m a speech language pathologist with experience in schools and clinics with children with complex communication needs and adults in the medical world healing from dysphagia, aphasia, and cognitive-communication impairments.
I have a passion for going above and beyond to connect patients with information that connects them back to their own beautiful lives. I’d love the opportunity to contribute to your journey in a meaningful way.
I work within a neurodiversity affirming practice model which integrates trauma-informed practice to provide a safe, supportive environment for my clients with autism, TBI, stroke, and disorders of cognition.
I’m currently seeing clients in the Los Angeles area via tele-practice and in-home. We will work together to identify which modalities are appropriate for you and your family.
Media City Speech and Neurological Rehabilitation is a private pay practice with a fee-for-service model at this time and does not accept insurance. We are considered out-of-network and are not affiliated with any insurance companies. Payment for services is due at the start of the visit.
At your request, we will provide a monthly statement (aka “superbill” or “paid invoice”) which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Media City Speech works with clients directly to set up payment as part of the intake process.
Media City Speech does not serve as a liaison between you and your insurance company, nor as an advocate for reimbursement of services. Please check with your specific plan ahead of time to understand any deductibles, out-of-network reimbursement rates and co-pays. Click the link below for a list of common CPT codes that insurance may reimburse to get a sense of what your PPO insurance may reimburse you.
Rates and Getting Started
Start here: Consultation
All journeys start here! A consultation is a one hour, flat rate meeting with me to discuss your needs, complete your intake forms and identify areas of concern.
This is our opportunity to see if working together is a good fit for you and your family. These meetings primarily take place virtually, if I am able to arrange in-person locally to the Sherman Oaks area, I will extend that option to those who express interest.
Step 2: Evaluation
A review of records, direct evaluation using standardized and non-standardized measures, patient and/or caregiver interview, and SLP observation give me a sense of the way your communication disorder is impacting your life.
Together, we’ll form goals that are meaningful to your life and address your concerns.
A full written report will be provided 2-3 weeks after completion of the evaluation for your records.
Pricing for evaluations vary upon complexity and type of evaluation and will be discussed following consultation. Evaluation fees start at $350. The cost of evaluation is included in quotes for intensives.
Step 3: Intensives
AAC whole-family training within the home, aphasia recovery, language intervention or cognitive-linguistic service that includes multiple sessions per week. This is a customizable program built around your needs
Results are tracked via measurable, data-driven and reported quality of life measures to ensure we’re addressing your concerns thoroughly
